General Information:
The New York Fellowship is a 6-month program designed for artists and arts professionals to explore and immerse themselves in the cultural life of New York City and the U.S. It aims to deepen participants’ understanding of diverse cultures while allowing them to develop their artistic practices. This fellowship is not a personal PR tour but a structured opportunity for cultural exchange and professional growth.

Benefits:
- Grant of $35,000 USD for 6 months
- Participants manage their finances according to their project needs
- Possible advance payment of $3,000 USD for travel-related expenses
- Option to reside at the International House, with costs deducted from the grant
Requirements:
- Must be over 21 by the fellowship start date
- At least 5 years of experience in eligible fields
- Cannot be enrolled in university studies during the fellowship
- Must not be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Previous New York Fellows are ineligible
