The aim of this program is to help implement the vision of developing youth leaders who have a continent-wide development mindset and are willing to facilitate better cooperation between African countries. The program started in 2017 and has helped several African students study abroad to gain better access to quality education, connect with like-minded people, and immerse themselves in environments conducive to growth which, in turn, will benefit the continent’s economy and future.
The benefits of the scholarship
The benefits can be different based on the types of scholarship: partial and full.
- Tuition fees
- Accommodation and food
- One return ticket for each study period
- A fixed allowance
Requirements
- Be a citizen of any African country residing in Africa.
- Have an acceptance letter from one or more MINDS-preferred institutions outside your home country.
- Achieved a minimum of 70% in each subject over the past two years.
- Demonstrated evidence of leadership abilities or potential, based on the questions in the application form.
- Submit a complete application form with the required documents.
