General Information:
The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship offers recent college and graduate alumni the chance to engage in full-time, paid fellowships focusing on international peace and security with various public-interest organizations in Washington, DC. Fellows conduct research, support advocacy initiatives, and gain experience in critical global issues such as arms control, conflict resolution, and environmental security.
Type: Fully funded
Date: 6 to 9-month, starting in Spring and Fall 2025
Deadline:
- Spring 2025 Fellowship: October 7, 2024
- Fall 2025 Fellowship: January 6, 2025
Benefits:
- Annual stipend of $48,948 ($4,079 per month)
- Basic health insurance compensation
- Professional development stipend
- Travel costs covered to DC
Requirements:
- Completed bachelor’s degree (graduate degrees also accepted)
- Strong academic record and interest in peace and security
- Desirable prior experience in public-interest activism, especially related to peace and security
- Open to U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens residing in the U.S. eligible for employment
