The aim of this scholarship program is to attract outstanding international students to study at the university while promoting a multicultural atmosphere on campus and enhancing the university’s reputation. The scholarship is available for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs.
The Benefits and Types of Scholarships
Three different types of scholarships are available for international students from all over the world:
- 100% scholarship (no monthly allowance)
- 50% scholarship
- 4,500 RMB for educational costs.
Requirements
The general requirements of the program are as follows:
- Undergraduate candidates must have a high school diploma and must not be older than 30 years.
- Postgraduate candidates must have an undergraduate degree, along with two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors, and must not be older than 35 years.
- Doctoral candidates must have a master’s degree, along with two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors, and must not be older than 40 years.
Other Requirements
The candidates:
- Must not be Chinese nationals, should be friendly, and in good health.
- Must obey Chinese laws and regulations.
- Must provide HSK certificates or other Chinese language proficiency certificates if applying for Chinese-taught programs. Or
- Must provide English language proficiency certificates such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, or other relevant certificates if applying for English-taught programs.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Must provide a bank statement.
- Must have no criminal record.
- Others.
